Feather Drift - Premium Wooden Framed Print With Museum-Quality Matte Paper

Soft objects, hanging in a warm room, obeying none of the usual rules about falling.

The background is a wash of blush and pale sand, lit from the upper left, meeting a paler floor near the bottom of the frame. Floating in front of it are seven or eight spheres, some crisp and close, some soft-edged and further back, every one of them covered in a fine fuzz that catches the light like brushed wool. The colours are barely there: cream, oatmeal, one small sphere holding a faint pink at its centre.

Along the lower edge a longer, lumpier form drifts sideways, more cloud than sphere, casting a soft shadow onto the floor beneath it. That shadow is the only thing in the picture with any weight.

It is the quietest piece in the range and probably the easiest to live with. The palette is neutral enough to sit in almost any bedroom, and the softness reads at a distance, which makes it a good choice for a large size on a bare wall.

Everything in this picture appears to be filled with down. We considered that a design brief rather than a coincidence.
