The top half is desert. Coral and dusty rose, mineral-crusted, with a dark magenta seam running across it like an old shoreline that dried out a long time ago. Below that the ground goes pale and marbled, thin ribbons of white salt laid over pink, before the whole thing tips into water.

And the water is the reason this piece exists. A band of bright turquoise breaks across the middle, then deepens through emerald and teal into an indigo so dark you cannot see the bottom of it. The edges between each band are ragged and layered, the way real shorelines are, never once drawing a straight line.

It is the boldest colour in the range and the one that changes a room fastest. Pink and teal on a white wall does most of the decorating for you, so it suits a bedroom that is otherwise fairly plain, or a hallway that could use waking up.

Whether there are lakes on Mars is still being debated. We have taken a position.
