For the sleepers who need their pillow to hold its ground.
Most pillows compromise. They start firm and soften within weeks, or they offer support in name only. The StarFirm® was built for people who know exactly what they need: a pillow that stays firm, holds alignment, and doesn't move.
The fill. High density 50D shredded memory foam. The 50D density rating means this is among the firmest memory foam fills available in a pillow. Shredded rather than solid, so it retains the breathability and natural give that a foam slab can't offer, without sacrificing the structure that firm sleepers need. It won't flatten, it won't bunch, and it won't feel different in six months than it does tonight.
The cooling. Gel-infused foam reduces heat build-up in the fill, and the shredded construction allows air to circulate through the pillow rather than trapping it. Not an active cooling pillow, but a firm pillow that breathes.
The cover. A removable, machine-washable bamboo and polyester blend with a silky-soft finish. Fitted with a YKK Natulon® recycled zipper, made from post-consumer recycled materials. Packaged in FSC-certified materials.
Why it matters:
50D high density shredded memory foam, firm, durable, and long-lasting
Shredded construction for airflow and natural give without losing structure
Gel-infused foam reduces heat retention
Removable, washable bamboo-polyester cover
YKK Natulon® post-consumer recycled zipper
100% hypoallergenic and dust-mite resistant
Firmness: 9.5 out of 10 on the Martian Dreams scale
Martian Made = Martian Miracle! They have achieved what for years has seemed impossible to find – a high quality pillow that is exactly as described and provides both support and comfort resulting in a good night’s sleep. I have tried so many pillows over the years and have been constantly disappointed no matter the filling type or price. The StarFirm pillow is a complete revelation. The transformation of the pillow after taking it from the very small delivery box is amazing! Just give it a good shake and then watch it expand and come to life! The shredded memory foam is exactly as described and is so easy to adjust to get to just the right height. Somehow the pillow manages to provide firm support whilst also feeling wonderfully soft. For the first time in years I have had hours of high quality sleep and have woken up without either a stiff neck or a headache. It truly feels miraculous. Thank you Martian Made for an excellent quality, value-for-money pillow which is transforming my sleep and which I would recommend to anyone. Your customer service is also first class and the five year warranty is the icing on the cake. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
I really cannot remember how many pillows I have tried over the years but, unfortunately, they all failed for one reason or another. However, I have very high expectations for my StarFirm pillow because it works very well for me as it is extremely comfortable. Also, I can add/remove the stuffing when I need to and having a 5 year guarantee gives me piece of mind. Thank you.
If you like a real firm pillow this is the one for you. I have had it 2 weeks now and I think its the best pillow I have ever purchased. Before this pillow I bought what was labeled firm from a well-known department store and it was flat by the end of the first week. The customer service is also excellent and they even sent me more filling which as yet I have not yet used but is there if I need it.
My second purchase, just replacement, loved it so much, but just thought it was time to purchase fresh bedding, even though the original one was still in good condition.
What an amazing pillow. We’ve tried a few different ones but this is easily the best pillow we’ve had. You can adjust the thickness and they give you a bag to put the spare in. Had to buy a second one because my wife took mine!
Store owner replied:
Yes, testing with different fill levels is how to fine tune the pillow to your precise comfort levels. It would be ridiculous to think that our standard fill level is perfect for every human, since humans vary so much.
Great pillows! A shame they had to be wrapped in two layers of plastic
I’m a pretty big bloke and most pillows just fold in half under me. I’ve gone through loads of them, all claiming to be “firm,” and they never are. This StarFirm pillow is the first one that actually holds me up. It’s properly firm, doesn’t squash flat, and I finally wake up without my neck killing me. If you’re on the larger side or just sick of soft pillows pretending to be firm, this one actually does what it says.
