Martian Fog - Premium Wooden Framed Print With Museum-Quality Matte Paper

The upper two thirds is a wash of pale rose and warm cream, so soft it barely registers as sky. Somewhere in the middle a hill emerges, then thinks better of it and dissolves back into the haze. A second ridge appears lower down, slightly firmer, running off to the right.

The colour builds as it descends. Dusty pink deepens into mauve, then into a dark plum along the bottom edge, where the ground finally gains some texture: a grainy surface, and at the lower right a small stand of grasses catching the light, the only thing in the entire frame with a hard edge.

The rest is fog doing what fog does. Holding everything at arm's length.

This is the softest piece in the range, and the one that works hardest in a small bedroom. Low contrast keeps a wall feeling open rather than busy, and the pink stays dusty rather than sweet, which means it sits comfortably next to grey, oatmeal, and dark wood.

Most art asks you to look at something. This one mainly asks you to stop.
