A forest, seen from a distance, on a planet where the trees grew differently.

Tall vertical bands run the full height of the frame, some sharp-edged like trunks, some dissolving into wash. The palette is warm and dry: sand, oatmeal, a burnt orange glow in the upper right where light is coming through, and a cool sage green working its way up from the bottom. Fine dotted texture sits over parts of it, giving the surface the look of an old screen print rather than a painting.

The lower third is fog. Everything softens there, the trunks lose their edges, and the ground simply stops being visible. Whatever is underneath has been left as an open question.

This is the most textural piece in the range and the one that most rewards a large size. The warm neutrals sit well against wood, linen, and clay tones, so it works in a bedroom with natural materials in it rather than a stark white one. It also carries at distance: from across a room it reads as calm colour, and up close it turns back into a forest.

We are not saying anything lives in the fog. We are simply noting that we did not check.
