Twin Moons - Premium Wooden Framed Print With Museum-Quality Matte Paper

The last light of the day, going out slowly, watched by two moons who have seen it all before.

The sky here is painted, not photographed: deep indigo and midnight teal laid on in visible brushwork, with dry-brush texture running through it and a scatter of small stars in the upper right. A pale crescent hangs high, thin and chalky. Below it and further right, a full moon sits heavier and closer, its face clouded in soft grey-blue.

Along the horizon the whole thing changes temperature. A narrow band of gold and coral burns just above the ridge line, the last of the sunset refusing to leave, and beneath it the ground runs deep magenta and plum, brushy and uneven, like heather at the end of the day.

It is the darkest piece in the range and the most useful one. Deep colour on a bedroom wall makes the room feel smaller in the good way, closer and quieter, especially by lamplight. Hang it above the bed or on the wall you see last.
